A FEW PROJECTS I'M PROUD OF:
One of my many responsibilities while working at Tokyopop was setting up a new website for the company. I had a Wordpress installation up and running, and myself and a design intern put together these mockups using the company's style guide.
Unfortunately, Tokyopop went out of business before I could apply these mockups to the site, but I'm still fond of how well the design balanced structure and a sense of youthful energy.
I worked on this project under contract for Stauffer New Media Development, creating a Drupal Theme based on a mockup provided by their art director.
WORDCAMP LA 2011
I gave a presentation on mobile Web design at the Wordcamp Los Angeles 2011 Wordpress conference. I thought it would be fun to get into the spirit of things and give my presentation on an iPad using a touch interface and rendering the slides in 3D. The result was buggy (I only had a few days to work on it,) but easily the funnest, coolest- looking thing I've ever done.
ABL: DESIGN THE WORLD!
Al-Insan Lashley, the art director from Stauffer New Media Development, hired me for this personal project. He provided me with his art and a basic outline of the concept, and I coded it into life. The most technically challening thing I've ever done. I'm currently working on a mobile version, using the same 3D technology I used for my Wordcamp presentation described above.
